What is PDQ?

As far as we're concerned, PDQ is the quickest and simplest estimating system we've ever used. PDQ (Predictive Dynamic Quoting) is a powerful production-route-based intelligent estimating package that can produce prices in under a minute - even when used by a non-estimator!

Every time a quote is done, PDQ recalculates using all the production methods configured in the system, rather than just reading prices from a spreadsheet, so that you always get the optimum price and production method for the job.

Am I too expensive?

For every estimate, you can choose to compare your price with a current market price simply by hitting the price check button. This will return a price calculated from an online database containing a generic pricing database - use it to make the most of an opportunity or just to see where you are in the market...

What's the carbon footprint of this job?

PDQ is the only estimating system that calculates the carbon footprint for every job - this information could be used to encourage clients to choose carbon friendly options - or as the basis for a carbon offset scheme.

How does it work with Tungsten?

The integration is truly seamless, with everything done from within the Tungsten interface to create, edit and locate estimates easily and quickly. Jobs are created using all the data already in the estimate - select the estimate, choose 'Convert to job' and complete the new job wizard to put the job into work. Data from PDQ and Tungsten combines to produce reports on conversion rates, productivity etc.
