Big Ice Box from Compose is a unique system designed to impose jobs with minimum paper wastage. It can take a number of greetings cards of different shapes and quantities, and automatically produce the optimum imposition for production efficiency. Output can be to PDF or straight to a platesetter or digital press.

With Tungsten

Tungsten and Big Ice Box integrate to exchange information about greetings card files. Using the specification and artwork files from Tungsten, BIB produces the optimum imposition and sends this information back to Tungsten for costing.

Approve in Tungsten, impose in Big Ice Box

Click the 'tick' mark next to each card as it is approved by the client – and the card will then automatically appear in Big Ice Box to be imposed. This means that you can mix and match cards from different customers to minimise production costs. Big Ice Box can select all of the available cards, and display the best solution for you.
